“Ready, set, GO!”
Sledding! Everyone loves this fun winter sport. You take a plastic board and prepare for takeoff! WHOOSH! Off you go! Down the slope!
A great place to experience sledding is Snowman Park in Nagano, Japan, also known as Karuizawa Snow Park or President Snow Park. You can also go jet tubing and skiing there. I highly recommend all the activities.
When you arrive, start off with sledding and choose your favourite snow board before ascending the slope. Although you could also try other activities first, sledding is a great place to start and warm your body up to a day full of activities.
Once you reach the top, sit on the sled like this; legs outstretched, body leaning backwards and gripping the reins. Before you take off, keep your legs apart and bent to prevent yourself from sliding.

When you are ready, place your legs together side by side and prepare for take off! WHOOSH!!!!!! Try your best to reach the end without falling down. Compete in a race with your family and friends. Don’t worry if you cannot succeed the first time! If this method does not work for you, try your own way!
Now, don’t forget it is not just about sledding. Try jet tubing too! First, choose your favourite ‘donut’, which is an inflatable tube. Next, lug it up the slope. A staff member will help you prepare your ‘donut’ and you are all set! Be mindful of your bags on this fun and bumpy ride!

Jet Tubing
Buckle up! Zoom! Off you go! Bump!
At regular intervals, the ‘donut’ will spin and bump into the inflated walls. Bump! The staff member will tilt it in a certain direction so that you can enjoy the dizzy and bumpy ride the way it was made to be.
After a day of fun and exciting activities, hunger will definitely hit you. Luckily, a kebab stall is just beside the park. Let’s warm our bodies up. Sizzle…Sizzle… Delicious!
Time really flies. Before you know it, it is time to go home. It is going to be a wonderful experience indeed. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you!
